Dear Imam Talal Eid,

Asslamu alaikum.  I want to thank you for meeting with us on Saturday.  I cannot express in words how greatful I am towards you.  The knowledge that you passed on to us is invaluable.  Not only did you answer questions that Jason asked, but you answered a lot of questions that he didn’t even know that he had.  

The meeting was also very beneficial for me.  I went home on Sunday and spoke to my parents about the meeting and discussed some of the things we had talked about.  We ended up having quite a long and pleasant discussion.  

Thank you for letting us borrow the Quran with the commentary and books.  We are both looking forward to reading them.  I will keep in touch, and I’m sure Jason will be in touch with you soon as well.
